Jason Dawson

Jayson Dawson came out with his debut release Anchor, an upbeat song about love, heartbreak, and all the feelings associated with it.
Knowing that Jayson had to switch from working in the production studio to doing everything remotely, it’s a pretty solid production. The song has a nice beat to it and flows nicely. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Energy.
Sophia Bella Cucci

Sophia Bella Cucci came out with her fourth single Lemons. The lyrics from the song were sparked by a conversation about lemon trees that grow on the Italian countryside, and then was used metaphorically to explore the good and bad in relationships.
Graphic designer and musician Sophia Bella Cucci has a beautiful voice that turns a song about eating a lemon into a tragedy of two lovers falling apart from one another. It’s the kind of spontaneous creativity that I find hard to compare to any other, other then the talents of singer/songwriters from the 90s such as Fiona Apple. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Night Music.
Silver Cup

Silver Cup came out with their stripped down ballad, Wonderful. The song is emotionally rooted in personal experiences with insecurity and feelings of isolation associated with adolescence.
The single is a different direction then the rest of their music collection, exploring the chorus and the feeling of wanting to fit in. Easily one of the most interesting piece of works I have heard, and a song I would love to see a music video of. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Minimal Vibes.
Justine Eltakchi

Justine Eltakchi came out with her song, Demons. This pop song is about mental health; mainly about facing your demons, getting rid of toxic people, and stop trying to fix and save everyone around you as a distraction.
This catchy single will easily be engrained into people’s heads, and probably even mine. This might just be my favorite pop song I have so far found on Musosoup. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, October.
Sarah Doyle

Hertfordshire (UK) singer/songwriter released her second single, Today. The song is about heartbreak and loss, and is heavily influenced by musicians like Sasha Sloan and Taylor Swift.
Okay… Truth be told, I have a weak spot for musicians like Sarah. Sasha Sloan being a huge weak spot too! This song better get played at my funeral, wow that got dark there for a second… This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Feelz.
Saint Idiot

Slovak-Canadian musician and producer Tomas Andel (Saint Idiot) recently released Talk. The song is his third single, and about healing in the age of hyperindividualism and isolation.
This song reminds me of my favorite bizarre songs I used to listen to all the time by the likes of Radiohead, Obehofer, and Panda Bear. The song, like the musicians I have mentioned, explore some unique sounds only a selective audience would enjoy… That apparently includes me. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Minimal Vibes.
Bailey Coats

Bailey Coats came out with her new single, Something in the Water on the 19th. The song came after an interesting encounter with a social media star, suggesting that that someone was cheating on their significant other…
Apart from the pain that Bailey must of suffered before writing this song, I really do think this is the best song in this music collection. There is something in the water, and I want to know more. But for now I will be adding this song to our Spotify playlist, Energy.
