My dating life sucks.
At the moment, I have been single for 3 years… 3 very lonely and weird years.
It sucks. And I have tried everything from online dating to social events, and at this point I am very close to convincing myself that speed dating would be worth a try… Yes, the most socially awkward and anxious person in the world is thinking of trying speed dating…
There have been dates, and I have felt like I could commit to the girls I have dated… But there was always something that would let me down…
Most of the time it had to do with communication, and I value communication more than I value trustworthiness when it comes to a relationship.
I guess that’s the biggest and most ideal thing people who like me are looking for in that special someone. We are always looking for what we want our future partner to be like.
This is exactly what Trish Discord is talking about in her next release, Desire, due to be released at the end July 2021.

Who is Trish Discord?
Trish Discord is a singer-songwriter that is inspired by multiple genres including alternative rock and indietronica. She currently resides in Queens, NY.
I reviewed her debut album Is This My Mental Breakdown in 2020, you can read that article here.
Her latest review from late May 2021 Strife, has already garnered over 8k streams on Spotify alone making it the 2nd most popular track in her Spotify collection.
If you have been listening to a lot of Paramore, New Order, Mitski, or Linkin Park, this one is going to be right up your alley.

Desire by Trish Discord Review
This sound is different then her previous releases, and it’s more to the trend of modern pop rock. I like the mix of modern and 90’s pop rock, it compliments her vocals better than her previous releases. The production is definitely something close to what I want for her music, and it’s a great step in a direction that is more original for her.
All-in-all it’s drastic progress that towards a place on one of Minimalistic’s playlists, but it needs a bit more. So keep at it Trish, you’re almost there!
This (track is) reminiscent of artists like Alanis Morissette, but a bit more on the atmospheric and alternative side, as opposed to leaning too much towards traditional pop-rock.
What’s Next for Trish Discord?
At the moment, there’s no known dates for her next release. But I will be in close contact with her, as she is basically a good friend of mine at this point.
