TJ North
Discovered by Grammy Nominated artist Eric Alexandrakis, TJ North has released his debut single “Methuselah”. His debut single breaks away from some of the more concussive songs on his upcoming album.
The song reminds me of Bon Iver, and I like the acoustic guitar in this song. His voice is powerful. However, this song is supposed to be a love poem, but nonetheless it still reminds me of Bon Iver. I look forward to hearing more.

K THX BYE is made up of vocalist Lyndsi Austin, producer Chris Qualls, and drummer Danny DeLeon. Following their successful debut single (Hurts Like Hell), PCH is the perfect driving home at the end of summer song when you’re thinking about fun drunk nights on the beach.
PCH reminds me greatly of what I like about dream pop, it’s also a great reminder of why electronic pop is so appealing to me. It blends the sounds of CHVRCHES and Elohim with a unique, catchy riff and chorus. This is great for fans of nostalgic and electronic pop.
Yannon
St. Louis based singer-songwriter, Yannon is inspired by gut-wrenching ballads, choral-esque harmonies, and bass lines. Cohesion is full of that and soulful synthpop, jazzy and tender vocals.
I absolutely love Yannon, she already knows that I really like her music. I get chills when listening to the song “Robin”, it’s such a well produced song. Definitely, I am intrigued to work further with this upcoming musician. Yannon is perfect for fans of pop jazz and Sylvan Esso.
Hui.
Hui is the work of Hugh William Davies and producer Rino Darusman who met at the University in Melbourne (Australia) and began working together in 2018. Hui’s main influences include Radiohead, Nick Drake, The Paper Kites, and more.
When listening to the track “Saganaki”, I think of Night Bus Revival, and when listening to “Worth” I think of Thom Yorke. The two songs in this way are not too different, because they are both sad acoustic poems. I like it! Hui is perfect for fans of Radiohead, acoustic singer-songwriters, and lo-fi.
Route 500
Route 500 is a new Brighton independent project that explores the human psyche and streams of consciousness paired with compelling vocals and lo-fi sounds. The dark and thrilling new release, “Hit Zero”, takes the project to a new level with inspiration from a time in a monotonous period of living in a hotel room earlier this year.
Bedroom pop is the new dark pop, especially when it comes to this song! I love the vibe in this hauntingly beautiful song, and the video really adds to the vibe. Route 500 would appeal to fans of The Howl and The Hum, and other related bands.
