Jason Dawson

Jayson Dawson

Jayson Dawson came out with his debut release Anchor, an upbeat song about love, heartbreak, and all the feelings associated with it.

Knowing that Jayson had to switch from working in the production studio to doing everything remotely, it’s a pretty solid production. The song has a nice beat to it and flows nicely. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Energy.

Sophia Bella Cucci

Sophia Bella Cucci

Sophia Bella Cucci came out with her fourth single Lemons. The lyrics from the song were sparked by a conversation about lemon trees that grow on the Italian countryside, and then was used metaphorically to explore the good and bad in relationships.

Graphic designer and musician Sophia Bella Cucci has a beautiful voice that turns a song about eating a lemon into a tragedy of two lovers falling apart from one another. It’s the kind of spontaneous creativity that I find hard to compare to any other, other then the talents of singer/songwriters from the 90s such as Fiona Apple. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Night Music.

Silver Cup

Silver Cup

Silver Cup came out with their stripped down ballad, Wonderful. The song is emotionally rooted in personal experiences with insecurity and feelings of isolation associated with adolescence.

The single is a different direction then the rest of their music collection, exploring the chorus and the feeling of wanting to fit in. Easily one of the most interesting piece of works I have heard, and a song I would love to see a music video of. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Minimal Vibes.

Justine Eltakchi

Justine Eltakchi

Justine Eltakchi came out with her song, Demons. This pop song is about mental health; mainly about facing your demons, getting rid of toxic people, and stop trying to fix and save everyone around you as a distraction.

This catchy single will easily be engrained into people’s heads, and probably even mine. This might just be my favorite pop song I have so far found on Musosoup. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, October.

Sarah Doyle

Sarah Doyle

Hertfordshire (UK) singer/songwriter released her second single, Today. The song is about heartbreak and loss, and is heavily influenced by musicians like Sasha Sloan and Taylor Swift.

Okay… Truth be told, I have a weak spot for musicians like Sarah. Sasha Sloan being a huge weak spot too! This song better get played at my funeral, wow that got dark there for a second… This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Feelz.

Saint Idiot

Saint Idiot

Slovak-Canadian musician and producer Tomas Andel (Saint Idiot) recently released Talk. The song is his third single, and about healing in the age of hyperindividualism and isolation.

This song reminds me of my favorite bizarre songs I used to listen to all the time by the likes of Radiohead, Obehofer, and Panda Bear. The song, like the musicians I have mentioned, explore some unique sounds only a selective audience would enjoy… That apparently includes me. This song will be added to our Spotify playlist, Minimal Vibes.

Bailey Coats

Bailey Coats

Bailey Coats came out with her new single, Something in the Water on the 19th. The song came after an interesting encounter with a social media star, suggesting that that someone was cheating on their significant other…

Apart from the pain that Bailey must of suffered before writing this song, I really do think this is the best song in this music collection. There is something in the water, and I want to know more. But for now I will be adding this song to our Spotify playlist, Energy.

Ben Meyers

Ben Meyers

Ben Meyers came out with Thunder on April 30th, which is almost an universal message that anyone can relate to. The song is a cross between Hozier and early John Mayer, as well as indie folk rock that highlights Ben’s musical talents lyrically and sonically.

The first thing I notice about this song is the unique use of both acoustic and electric guitars. I really appreciate the complexity of the song and lyrics. It’s an easy listen to while also feeling like a really meaningful song.

Karen Harding

Karen Harding

Melbourne (AUS) musician Karen Harding came out with I Didn’t Realise on May 7th, a ballad that talks about an earth shattering breakup that is so painful. The song reflects and navigates us through every raw emotion during the healing process.

Karen’s very hauntingly beautiful voice soars throughout the whole song and really makes you feel the painful things she goes through in this song. Heartbreak is real, and it hurts. This song sheds light on that, and I love that.

Abz Winter

Abz Winter

18 year old Abz Winter came out with Faker on April 30th, an all-around catchy song about what Abz says “people are not always what they seem”.

The song is fun, one that I feel really should be a concert opener. Abz has a powerful voice, and she has a lot of potential in the music industry with this song.

Bethany Ferrie

Bethany Ferrie

23 year old singer songwriter Bethany Ferrie from Glasgow came out with Bones on April 30th, a song from her upcoming EP that touches on her reflections from the lockdown. During this lockdown, she finds herself reminiscing, letting go, and opening up.

Bones feels like a freeing song that welcomes excitement into ones life, kind of like falling in love after a period of being lonely. I find this very inspiring since it focuses on letting go of the things in your past.

Nightly Gatherings

Nightly Gathering

22 year old producer and photographer Connor Johnson (aka Nightly Gatherings) came out with Affirmation on April 30th, a song he wishes to invoke just as much emotion the rest of his music. While his previous single (Up All Night) was about reminiscing on the joy we had with our loved ones prior to lockdown, this single focuses on appreciating all the little things.

I really like this song, it reminds me of the musicians that are on my Vibes playlist. The electronics are very uplifting, and I really appreciate how the lyrics tell a story on top of that uplift.

Madison Deaver

Madison Deaver

LA pop rock singer-songwriter Madison Deaver came out with That’s What She Said, the first single off of her Tongue Tied EP. This single is an up-tempo song with female sounds of the 90s and features drummer Adrian Young (Dreamcar / No Doubt).

I am a huge fan of this song, and the idea of UK and US sounds in an EP is pretty sick too. This song touches my modern and 90s musical geekness. No real criticism here, other than the fact that I love this song.

Pokki DJ

Pokki DJ

Italian DJ and music producer Gianluca Pochiero (aka Pokki DJ) came out with Misty Haze on May 5th, which was recorded entirely in Sanremo, Italy. Pokki is known for his single Remember This Night (2017), which later won him second place in the 2018 Unsigned Only EDM.

The song is very well produced, and should be in a Ayokay set. I love the peaks and low points of the song, it really flows all very well.

Ugly Beautiful

Ugly Beautiful

Ugly Beautiful came out with Sunrise on April 23rd, a song that blends alternative rock with hints of grunge and indie. The song tells a story of two people trying to help each-other through the confusing and distracting world that we live in.

This is a really interesting song all together, the video is also very intriguing too. The verses remind me of Tool, while the chorus remind me of the Local Natives sort of.

Hybrid Kid

Endless by Hybrid Kid

Indie rock band Hybrid Theory came out with Endless on April 30th. The band is inspired by collective British greats like Arctic Monkeys, with appearances on multiple BBC platforms.

The mellowness of this song is feels like a song you would hear in an Irish coffee house or something chill like that. As a guitar player myself who likes fingerpicking, I really like the repetitive fingerpicked riff throughout the song.

Matias Malagardis

Matias Malagardis

Matias came out with his new single Awake on the 21st, which talks about waking up to a newly discovered aspect of love. Awake is also his first ever music video he has released since 2018, and he is really proud of it.

Combining the acoustics of Ben Howard with elements of Arlo Parks and Ry X, Awake is really one of a kind when it comes to its complexity. I love his style, and the symbolism in this music video makes you understand the feelings in the song. It is a pretty sold song and music video all together.

Mark Houston

Mark Houston

Singer and multi-instrumentalist Mark Houston (Spokane, WA) came out with Deserve You on the 23rd. This single is a lush/folk/pop song made up of male and female vocals, fingerstyle acoustic guitar, and violin and electric guitars.

Deserve You touches on the concept fo self-destruction in a fictional tale about someone who feels that they are unworthy of love. The song is very relatable to many, and is something that I could write an article about… Maybe?

Ollie Hussey

Ollie Hussey

Ollie Hussey came out with Credence on the 20th, which is a love song written about Ollie’s experience with depression during the first lockdown.

For a song that is recorded AND produced entirely on his iPhone (top that Sarabean), this is a solid song as well. I also want to commend Ollie for making such a vulnerable song, it’s something I have been struggling with too and I can’t imagine what I’d be like if I wrote and produced a song about it.

Mayfair Lady

Mayfair Lady

Italian-American Mayfair Lady came out with Reality Check on April 23rd. The song is about a dark time when she struggled with an eating disorder, partying too much, and filling a lonely void by doing the wrong things with wrong people.

“Deep down I knew this lifestyle only fed more into my sorrow, but I kept on going. I felt like I was living in a sad movie and I needed to come back to reality. I needed a reality check,” says Mayfair. This dark pop song and breath taking music video is like something out of a short film that was meant to inspire you to be present and make sure you are okay with who you are. I really can’t say much else because this is such a masterpiece and powerful, the music video will make you feel something and all you can say is “wow” after it.

Glow Beets

Glow Beets

Glow Beets came out with Head Rush on the 23rd, which is an electronic pop song that is part of an EP focusing on mental health.

The song really intrigues me on what the whole EP will be like, when I listen to this song I get a head rush personally. I really think this song could be good in a set for Nikademis.

Carta Inc

Carta Inc

Carta Inc and Isabella Tarran will be coming out with their collaborative song Without Your Love on May 6th, an unapologetic pop song that walks the line of chillout vibes and festival sing-a-long with boasting vocals from Isabella.

This reminds me of a mix of Laszewo and Bhavior, I love how the lyrics that flow along with the song. This song should do well among fans of the Chainsmokers and Diplo.

Mia Mormino

Mia Marmino

Mia Marmino released her new single Rapunzal on April 9th. Rapunzel is about Envy, the second of 7 deadly sins. She wrote the song in hopes of connecting with the millions of people who feel worthless particularly due to their appearances compared to others.

Mia’s voice reminds me of Dani Kristina’s lovely voice, and I think that’s why I love this song. It absolutely pains me that beautiful women worldwide think like this, and I hope this song touches them in a special way. The song is apart of project Mia’s working on for 2021 called The Seven Deadly Sin-gles, and I will happily be covering the rest of the seven singles.

Paperwing

Paperwing

Paperwing released their third single from an upcoming EP Prism, The Fall (Waterfall, Pt. 2) featuring Lonely Dear is a remake of Paperwing’s old song Waterfall. The acoustic pop song is duet of Emil Svangangen (Lonely Dear) and Paperwing.

Emil’s voice is so beautiful, and sets the tone for the remake. Almost as a response to Emil’s verse, Paperwing returns with powerful vocals. This masterpiece ends with a soaring battle between the two voices, truly making this a ballad.

Carina Torres

Carina Torres

Carina Torres came out with The Way We Exist on the April 9th. The song is a beautifully vulnerable indie-pop ballad written and produced by Carina herself.

The song contains honest and raw lyrics that are complemented by a compelling melody and vocals. This song appeals to me because of the production that is so well done, I am amazed that this talented musician created every part of this song.

Anoma Lee

Anoma Lee

Originally from Brussels, Belgium, now UK-based Anoma Lee recently released her song Far from Home on April 2nd. The singer finds her inspiration through the likes of Ry X, Billie Eilish, and many more.

I love the song because of it’s originality. I can’t really think of a similar sound to this song, it’s really a cool production. Oh, did I mention she is also a composer AND producer?… Oh, well she’s that too.

Temperature Falls

Temperature Falls

Temperature Falls released their song Death by Suffocation on April 2nd. The dark and big bass song has a trip hop beat leading into a raw energetic chorus.

This song dig deeper into their rawest sound that is about addiction and how it can drag a person down. The song is so powerful, and I personally love the message in the song. I think this is a perfect song for fans of Massive Attack.

Luke Lanzon

Luke Lanzon

Luke Lanzon just released 46 on April the 10th. The track is his second overall release, and Lanzon co-produced the track alongside audio engineer Elijah Lucas who he found on Craigslist and has been working with since 2018. It was then mastered by Kramer of Shimmy Disc Records.

The track would appeal to fans of The Shins, Tame Impala, and probably even Weezer. I like the modern Beach Boys vibe to it, and the track definitely falls between surfer pop and dream pop.

Jacko Hooper

Brighton (UK) musician Jacko Hooper, who has toured with the likes of Foxes, Chet Faker, James Blunt, and many more, recently released his recent track This Was the Earth on March 12th. The track was recorded in his bedroom with life long friend and producer Josh Trinnaman.

Jacko says that the purpose of the song is to allow the listener, just like all of music, to have their own interpretation. To me the song hauntingly reminds me of the current times we are all living in, all we’ve been doing during this pandemic is living inside of our heads and staying inside from a world that is so scary. This song will be added to our Simply Indie Spotify playlist.

River Iris

Singer since she was 2 years old, River Iris is a graduate of UC Berkeley. After graduation, she traveled and lived in many countries where she learned their cultures, ate their food, and embraced the beauty of all the places she was in.

After releasing her debut single from her EP Bet on Your Love that was assisted by a Grammy nominated producer in early May (2020), Peekaboo is now her 4th single. I admire the production in this song, the start and stop beat is well made. I love the phrase “peekaboo with my heart.” This track will be added to our EDM Spotify playlist.

Sapienn

Sapienn is a solo acoustic project from Glasgow-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Scott Simpson. Originally a Metal guitarist in the Glasgow underground Metal scene, Scott started writing and producing his own music mid-way into 2016.

The song is a departure from previous works, being more up-beat, groove-based, and drawing inspiration from R&B with a strong foundation in Rock. Always interesting when you see a musician transition into an entirely different genre on their own, such as the case for Sapienn. I like the 70s mixed into this song, the guitar really grabbed my attention. This song will be added to our Sweet Treats Spotify playlist.

Cyrano

Scottish born, and London grown producer came out with White Wine on March 24th. The producer, known for his music for late night over thinkers, wrote the song in celebration of the friendships he made while recording in Los Angeles for a summer.

White Wine is Cyrano’s debut release inspired by the likes of Frank Ocean, featuring Jazzi Bobbi (Nilufer Yanza) and has already been featured on Jess Iszatt’s BBC introducing show. I personally enjoy the New Order vibes in this song, and I am looking forward to hearing more from him. This song will be added to our Sweet Treats Spotify playlist.

Natasha Ghosh

Natasha’s newest single Paradise came out on the 26th, the song is a deep and emotional vocally lead lofi track. This covid-19 project was further made possible in collaboration with famous lofi artist Kid Kio from his home studio.

Originally a professional Dutch-Indian finger style ukulele player, Natasha Ghosh has been releasing music throughout the last year within the indie-electronic, R&B, lofi, and hip-hop genres. I’ve never actually heard of Kid Kio, but then again I don’t know a lot of lofi musicians… I like Paradise because I really like the beat and vibe of the song, well produced and I personally want to hear more music like this in my life. This song will be added to our Night Music Spotify playlist.

Sleep Walking Animals

Following the highly successful release of debut Aengus’ Fool, Sleep Walking Animals return with their next single Wild Folk on the 27th. Inspired by various literature past down to them, SWA are mainly influenced by the likes of Hozier and Fleetwood Mac.

The lyrics were written by vocalist Tom Glynn-Carney and was recorded at Abbey Road Studios London. The song eerily reminds me of Delta Spirit, a band I used to listen to when working in the fields at a farm I worked at that’s less than 5 minutes down the road from my house. This song will be added to our Simply Indie Spotify playlist.

TIMIAN: Tandem Music Review

TIMIAN

Independent

@jocronin65

Editorial

Imagine a painting called The Execution. In the painting you see a man on an execution block roughly around the dark ages.

You see his face screaming as he pleas and says the woman has possessed the people in the crowd. That same woman holds an ax above his head, and that same crowd chants “KILL HIM”.

This is an image I had when listening to Crimson Child’s album (Eleventh Hour).

So why am I talking about Crimson Child? Well, for one Crimson and TIMIAN both made a ridiculously good song called Time is Running Out (2019).

The real reason why I told this story is because this type of imagery is what TIMIAN wants to do with his music… To tell a story.

Who is TIMIAN?

“Back in the days when I was about 12 years old, my childhood friend from the Canary Islands introduced me to FL Studio,” says TIMIAN. This is where he made his first basic song which had an “intro with the duration of a couple of minutes with the same repetitive house mamba pattern” he says.

This is where it all started, “my music was very house based and didn’t have much personal (touch) until 2 years into my career, where I found a theme of darkness and brightness meeting and fighting each other in the music,” he says.

Today, he’s got a huge fan base that cares for him deeply and all gathered onto a discord server called Monochromacy.

I don’t know where to draw a line between fans and friends in my case, because I don’t believe I have fans I haven’t spoken to yet. But if you focus on the friends fans I do know then my fan base is very caring.

TIMIAN (10/25/2020)

Inspiration Behind TIMIAN

It’s really hard to point a finger at which genre TIMIAN falls under, and I guess that’s why it caught my attention. But if I would have to call it something, it’d definitely be midtempo house with a heavy influence in telling a story.

I genuinely get entranced by the music he makes, it’s like an acid trip… Not meaning that I’ve done that before, because I definitely haven’t. Instead, I mean I imagine it would be something like listening to his music.

I can definitely see some of his songs being headlined in an electronic festival, and even promoted in an Apple or Samsung ad.

Overall, TIMIAN is an absolute mastermind and deserves to be recognized by the best. I would love to see him collaborate more, like he has been.

Maybe I’ll squeeze his music into a video someday?….

But one thing is certain, I will be adding his music into our Spotify playlists.

(The song) is the ambience and the scenery of the story while the lyrics and some carefully chosen sound effects, are the meaning. I tend to write the story down in a poem, which enriches and goes into depth of the story.

TIMIAN

What’s Next for TIMIAN?

The story continues for TIMIAN, with a slow turn into something much more personal “and even more story based,” he says.

“Some might say that I’m begging to write with light and images with sound, as I’m trying to make it as vivid as possible. But I’m definitely not going to be doing much more Midtempo for this time around where I’m going to explore a lot further, even outside the EDM scene,” says TIMIAN.

He has recently released an epic track called Tandem, which if you haven’t checked out then definitely take sometime out of your day to do so.

For the future, TIMIAN hopes to get a manager and a team to fully support his ideas and visions he has for his future.

“I know I have the potential but I’m not good at executing it. With the team up and running I will be able to get my album Colours in Between to shine and not just die off instantly,” he says.

Meanwhile, TIMIAN will be making some more pop music with another trio he’s been starting which already has made some really good unreleased songs.

Thank You Notes

I would like to thank TIMIAN for being a good friend, and being patient for this review. If you enjoy TIMIAN’s music, please feel free to follow and like the links below.

Conclusion

Have a great week, and remember to be respect for to everyone. Also, remember to follow your local health guidelines, we are still in a pandemic.

Musosoup Features

New feature here on Minimalistic Music blog, we have collaborated with Musosoup and their wide range of musicians to bring more music to our audience! Here’s our first features!

Bonze

Bonze

After being featured on BBC Introducing London, Bonze has come out with his song Jenny (Can You Hear Me?). The tune is an unapologetic love song that was written in a shed in two hours, and was publicly released on the 12th. This single is one of many songs that are apart of the album that is being set to release in 2022.

I enjoy because of the mix of electronic pop and synth/dream pop, it reminds me of a mix of Glass Animals and Telemarkk. His music is great for fans of Glass Animals, Slenderbodies, Atlas Genius, and other similar musicians.

Sienna

Sienna

Sienna is comprised of singer Daniel Roberts, guitarist George Broadhurst, bassist Taylor Asbridge, and drummer Rabbie McAdam-Duff. They’ve seen success with playing headline shows and multiple BBC air play. Barroom Brawls’ chaotic lyrics echoes the quick riffs that were squeezed into this 3 and half minute song.

Sienna has certainly matched up to their Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood influences in this intense and certain-mosh-pit-starter song. This song is perfect for fans of the early Arctic Monkeys, and other UK 2000’s bands.

Emmrose

Emmrose

Partially inspired by the video game “Among Us”, imposter is about Imposter Syndrome and the way people think everyone eventually finds out that are a fraud. It’s a complex song, but overall it sheds light on how dangerous overconfidence is, and as well as having no confidence is. Emm hopes this song can help people that struggle with their self-worth in one way or the other.

Emmrose really sounds vulnerable in this song, and tells a great story at the same time. Emmrose would appeal to fans of Cloe Wilder, Lana Del Ray, and others of the likes.

Sophia

Sophia

Sophia has been called an artist to watch by BBC Introducing in the North East for 2021. Her humble and emotional brand of pop sparks a captivating style that has sparked the imagination of her growing fan base. Stay explores the confusion of a certain feeling when in a situation you never want to leave and stay in forever.

Stay is a great electronic and alternative pop song that is anthemic and has wonderful vocals. Sophia would appeal to fans of Moodbay, MisterWives, and Matilda Mann.

Wild Tibetan Monks

Lying Next to You by Wild Tibetan Monks

Wild Tibetan Monks are a Dublin based alt-rock band has recently released their song Lying Next to You. The song is about lying in not telling the truth, rather than physically lying next to someone. The conflicting feelings reflect what you feel after lying to someone you want to tell the truth to.

The live instruments really expose the acoustic honesty and regret in the song, making you feel the hurt and pain behind what the person feels in the song. Wild Tibetan Monks would resonate with fans of Pavement and other musicians of the likes.

Slowride

Forever in my Head by Slowride

Slowride has worked with Greenmount (Ellie Goulding) and Isaac Carpenter (Awolnation) for their previous debut single I Feel Like You that spiked the interest of bloggers, playlisters, and curators globally. Forever In My Head is their melodic/alternative sound that hopes to garner just as much interest.

This is a great song that reminds me a lot of Twenty One Pilots and Foster the People. This is a great band for fans of Robert DeLong, Twenty One Pilots, Foster the People, and Death Cab for Cutie.

Nana M. Rose

Nana M. Rose

The beautiful Nana M. Rose is excited to come out with her lead single from her upcoming EP (due to be released in May), Sweet Honey. The song captures the feeling of being in love, this being a bit different to her previous releases.

This song is a perfect introduction to the spring in a light-hearted and dreamy way, so I will gladly feel free to play it through my window when it is released on the 26th. This lovely musician is great for fans of Kate Bush, Nick Drake, and dreamy music.

Liza Weald

The Hologram by Liza Weald

The majestic sound of The Hologram comes from Liza Weald, a Netherland musician who has won a Rotterdam Music Award in November. The song is set to be released on the 26th, but has already released two new songs this year.

I was really excited to review this wonderful piece of work, because it reminds me a lot of what it would sound like if the Fleet Foxes had female lead singer. This indie folk musician would appeal to fans of Bear’s Den, The Oh Hello’s, Ben Howard, and Fleet Foxes.

Trent-Jean

Trent-Jean

One of the fastest accomplished musical groups to emerge from the Australian music scene in 2020 has recently released their song B4IDie, a story of how Trent-Jean got kidnaped by a woman.

The song is full of bada$$ energy, and is made for our playlists like Rock and Fuel. This is a great band for fans of Cleopatrick, Badflower, and other modern rock bands.

Shawn Matthews: Sunshine

Independent Artist

@jocronin65

Editorial

I just wanted to talk for a second about progression.

Specifically the progression of the musicians I have covered in this blog. I wanted to do this as the blog is nearing it’s 4th year anniversary.

When I begun my blog, I had absolutely no connections. And today I know over 200+ artists and music businesses. The progression I have made through the years is unlike anything I ever imagined when starting the blog.

Several of the musicians I have covered hit it big.

Svniivan, who I covered mostly on social media and have had some of the coolest conversations with, recently hit 1 million monthly streams on Spotify.

Jameo, one of the first musicians I covered in the beginning and an artist I have lost touch with but still fully support, has multiple tracks released through Proximity and garnered over 7k monthly streams.

I could go on and on, but at some point these musicians were all small and with support from me and others they have progressed so much.

When Shawn Matthews reached out to me, he was just starting and had a very small fan base.

Today, his newest release, Sunshine, has reached over 50k streams on Spotify with help from Fresh Finds: Pop Spotify playlist.

How did this happen?

Because of bloggers and music promoters like me.

That’s why.

Who is Shawn Matthews?

In the beginning, Shawn pulled his inspirations from Kanye West, Jon Bellion, and whatever other videos he found on YouTube. As time went on he started to try to put his own vocals on beats he made. At that point, his vocals were inspired by Bazzi, Aries, Khalid, and others.

Shawn’s fairly new to the music industry, but is building his fan base steadily. Most of the fan base are currently made up of teens and young adults.

Inspiration Behind Shawn Matthews Music

My goal is to take my music in a more alternative direction and use more live instruments such as guitars and drums.

Shawn Matthews (10/26/2020)

Shawn came to me with his song Wanna Be back in early October 2020, I loved the track and could see a bright future in his sound. That song has now almost 7k streams.

There’s a lot of cool instrumental elements in Shawn’s music, but I would like him to get more creative with his writing. I’d like his writing style to match up to some of his influences such as Khalid and Jon Bellion. It’s a high bar, but he could reach it with some creativity.

I am overall pretty excited for Shawn’s future releases, and it’ll be interesting to see how he uses live instruments in his music.

Shawn’s very stellar top 5 songs on Spotify will be added to our Indie Spotify playlist.

What’s Next for Shawn Matthews?

My goal is to take my music in a more alternative direction and use more live instruments such as guitars and drums.

Shawn

Shawn has recently released his newest song Sunshine in the beginning of February. The song has seen a lot of success on Spotify, quickly becoming his most popular song on the platform. At the time of the interview his song Wanna Be was just released, and that is now his third most popular track.
