What I love about Dinah, is that she is willing to keep me accountable. I did not put out my best work when I released the Musosoup Feature earlier this month and Dinah politely called me out on it.
This is my formal apology to her and those musicians… I was probably tired when writing them, but that’s not an excuse that warrants lazy reviews. I am deeply sorry and here to make it up to you all!
In the immortal words of Hannah Montana: everybody makes mistakes, ever body has those days.
I hold myself to a higher standard for this blog.
Thank you Dinah for your patience,

Who’s Dinah Is
Dinah Is is a singer-songwriter and assistant producer from Bergen (Norway). Her major influences derive from jazz hip-hop artists like Mac Miller and Tom Misch as well as pop icons such as Lorde and Sigrid.
After her successful debut release of “Thinking Backwards” in 2020, Dinah is hoping for even more success with “I’m New” which was released in early July 2021.
I’m New by Dinah Is Review
I really like Dinah’s voice, it definitely reminds me of Sigrid, and it’s got a nice nostalgic vibe to it as well. Especially her first song, “Thinking Backwards”.
“I’m New” is a more happy nostalgic song that lightly lifts the mood, which is a perfect way to describe her sound.
I would love to hear more acoustic versions of her songs in the future, or maybe even a stripped back version of her work. I feel like she could take her music in so many directions, and I think that she has a lot of potential.
