Slowlife

Slowlife

Southern Germany-based Slowlife is the solo project of songwriter Patrick Behrens. After going back and forth for awhile, in 2020 he finally found his sound that he didn’t know he was looking for.

On July 20th, Slowlife came out with Dreaming on all platforms. The song is about all and any dream that seem too good to be true.

In my opinion, the tone of the song is interesting for a song strictly about dreams. The video as well, which gives off a bit of a creepy vibe. I love the dream pop vibes though.

I would compare this tune to the likes of Bob Dylan, and Jason Ebbs. If you like the tune then follow and like the links below!

Zach Churchill

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Zach Churchill has been making music has been making music for a while. Zach is known for his honesty, which is disarming as is his dedication to his artistic craft.

On July 15th, Zach came out with their newest single called Surrender. The song explores difficult feelings and painful traumas with a brave curious spirit while dealing with addiction and hopelessness.

This rock pop song is intense, and I love it. The tone of the song is empowering almost in a Muse standpoint. I really have no complaints about the song, I just would like to hear more.

If your a fan of Muse, Glass Peaks, or The Howl and The Hum, then definitely check this out. If you like what you hear, then follow and like the links below.

On July 15th, Marcus came out with his newest collaborative song, Bystander. The song is a reflection about the world that we live in where we watch terrible things happening to people.

The guitar is the first epic part of this song I recognize about this song, and then I recognize the epic meaning of it. The song hits home, and should to pretty much all of the people who listen to this masterpiece. Marcus should be really proud of this song.

If your a fan of U2 and other classic rock bands then you’d love this modern day version. If you like what you hear, then like and follow the links below.

On July 22nd, she released Run It with producer Les Correa and award winning Joa Dall’Stella who directed the upcoming video. Run It calls out the survivor in everyone, as it is an anthem for those overcoming whatever.

This song definitely reminds me of Mo, a pop singer that I have come absolutely obsessed with lately. I genuinely enjoy this song, and appreciate the song meaning.

This is best for fans of Mo and Caii, and other modern pop female singers. If you like what you hear then like and follow the links below.

I absolutely adore this young lady, and I really hope I can cover her more in the future. She is definitely the Elliot Lee of Indie Pop. I love the highs and lows of this EP, and genuinely love listening to this.
