Update Regarding the Minimalist Music Blog:

I started this blog with the intention of helping artists and creating a place where music lovers can discover their new favorite musicians. Our team is committed to showcasing all kinds of talent – not just those who are able to afford purchasing publicity.

We believe that, nowadays, musicians spend too much money on trying to gain recognition for their art.

With that being said, this blog will now run on a donation system. If you are an artist and wish to make a donation in return for a review, or a reader who enjoys the blog and wants to contribute, you can find us on Musosoup. We are also in the process of developing a new donation system for the blog, so stay tuned!

Who are Moon Walker?

Moon Walker is comprised of dynamic duo Harry Springer (singer/guitarist) and Sean McCarthy (drummer). Their eclectic brand of Rock & Roll has catapulted their music careers since their debut in May 2021. Harry and Sean have previously toured with the likes of Cage the Elephant and others.

Moon Walker’s major influences include Bowie, Talking Heads, and Led Zeppelin. Listeners will hear traces of funk, post punk, and other genres in their debut album, Truth To Power.

Truth to Power by Moon Walker Review

I like the unique mix of music included in this album. Thematically, Moon Walker’s music is politically motivated, imparting strong messages from some of the nicest and most humble people you’ll ever meet.

Devil has a nice mix of funk and modern rock and reminds me of what the Talking Heads would sound like today.

New Commandments is a reminder of just how much I love Cage the Elephant… Oh wait this is Moon Walker…

This Dark Town is most definitely a throwback to 70s punk rock music, but Moon Walker definitely added a little spice of their own.

What’s Next for Moon Walker?

Right now it is unclear what is up next for Moon Walker, but with their current success, we’re not too worried.

John is the founder and main writer for Unedited Music Blog, and although he struggled to obtain a satisfying amount of views on BlogSpot he is certainly more hopeful for success on WordPress. He currently is in touch with many musicians worldwide ranging from small to big bands, all of them he considers more than just musicians... He also considers them to be something like his friends. John's interest in music started back when he was attending Adams Middle School in his hometown of Massachusetts (USA). Considering himself as a music geek, little did he know he would make a kind of impact on the music industries the way he is doing now. Currently training to be an editor for Genius community and Waze Map Editors community, he certainly enjoys all that he does and is not planning to stop anytime soon.
